Cause of deadly Howland fire ruled accidental
The state fire marshal has determined that a fire that claimed two lives in Howland was accidental in nature.Investigators believe that the fire which spread through a duplex on Pegotty Drive last Wednesdayoriginated in the kitchen stove.52-year-old Richard Noble, and his 80-year-old mother Naomi Smith were both transported to Warren hospitals after the fire.Smith was pronouced dead on the same day of the fire. Noble was transfered to Akron Children's Hospital and died the following morning.
