WARREN, Ohio - The son of the late Moe Howard of the "Three Stooges" made a special stop in the Valley on Wednesday afternoon.

Paul Howard was the guest speaker at a luncheon hosted by the Rotary Club of Warren at Enzo's Restaurant. He shared what it was like growing up with uncles Curly, Shemp, family friend Larry and, of course, his father Moe.

"Somebody happened to say 'Paul, what does your dad do for a living?' I said, 'Oh my dad, he is a meter reader for Pacific Gas and Electric.' You see, to me, that was an all American typical, normal vocation a father might have, not a world class comedian," said Howard.

Howard said while he has many good memories of his father, his dad was an inpatient man, who struggled to communicate on an emotional level.

The presentation included old family films and slides.
