GREENVILLE, Pa. - A car plowed into a fast food restaurant in Greenville Thursday morning.
Daniel DeNicola, 76, of Greenville told police that he was driving on Main Street around 10:00 a.m.
Authorities believe the elderly driver had a medical problem.
"Driver stated he started feeling a little wheezy and thought to himself, 'Maybe I better pull over'. At that point, he said he blacked out and doesn't remember what happened," said Brent Zane, with the Greenville Police Department.
Investigators said the car went over the curb, crashed into the building and struck the opposite wall of the restaurant before coming to rest.
DeNicola was taken to a Greenville hospital with what police said are not life-threatening injuries.
A restaurant employee had just unlocked the door to begin the business day. However, no one inside the Arby's was injured.
Renovation work had recently been completed at the restaurant.
