Mohammad "Mike" Nassar, 50, of Warren and Judeh Naser, 49, of Akron were arraigned Friday morning in Warren Municipal court on drug possession charges.
On Thursday, officers with the Warren street crimes unit served a court order and a search warrant at Atlantic Beverages on the corner of Atlantic Street N.E. and Vine Street.
The law director says the action follows a long investigation based neighbors complaints and numerous police calls at the location.
Authorities allege that controlled prescription drugs like oxycodone were purchased over the counter like buying a pack of gum.
The law director says the action is part of "Operation Clean Sweep" which will be targeting similar trouble spots in the city this summer.
The court order declares Atlantic Beverages a nuisance and closes the business down pending a court hearing on May 26th, when a longer shutdown could be ordered.
A preliminary hearing for the two suspects is scheduled for June 11.
