COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A central Ohio man who bought cars advertised on Craigslist and then stole the money back at gunpoint and kept the vehicles has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the scheme.

Thirty-year-old Mickey Velazquez apologized in court in Columbus on Friday for what he called "bad decisions" and said he wished he could take back his actions.

The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1GCOhQ8 ) reports that Velazquez had pleaded guilty in January to three counts of interference with commerce by threat or violence and two counts of using a firearm in a violent crime. The scheme involved two car sales and robberies.

One of Velazquez's alleged co-conspirators already has been sentenced to 28 years in prison, and another to 17 years. A fourth defendant is scheduled for trial in August.
