It was a rough winter. The roads took a beating. But, now it's almost July and one Goshen Township man says enough is enough. He wants the roads fixed.

John Biery placed a three and a half by seven foot sign on the corner of State Route 534 and Middletown Road.
The signs reads, "Road Condition Compliments of Mahoning County Engineer Patrick T. Ginnetti. Drive with Extreme Caution!!"
And an arrow points down Middletown Road.
"Rather than just being a complainer who stood behind the scenes I said I'm going to grab the bull by the horns and I figured this would probably get some attention," said Biery.
Biery feels Middletown Road is one of the worst county maintained roads in the township.
"I don't know Mr. Ginnetti and I mean no disrespect to him. I'm calling out the county is what I'm calling out. They just have to give some attention to the roads," expressed Biery.
21 News spoke with Ginnetti, who was not yet aware of the sign. He tells us the pot hole problem is bigger than his staff and bigger than his budget.
He says crews are out daily but, because of recent rain and flooding he's had to call them away from street repairs and move them in a different direction.
Budget restraints also don't help the situation. He says that while the cost of supplies and material has gone up his budget has been the same for about a decade.
Still, people along Middletown Road are growing tired of dodging the potholes. John Biery is circulating a petition hoping that with enough signatures, something more will be done.
"The vehicles are getting beat to death. The neighborhood has complained to Mahoning County Engineer hasn't had any action yet and I understand there are others who need attention too but, its pretty ridiculous," said Biery.
