The Warren City School district is stepping up its security measures to keep students safe.The district plans to spend almost $490,000 on 300 cameras from Valley Electrical Consolidated out of Girard.The digital surveillance system will be installed at Warren G. Harding High School, Lincoln Elementary and the former administration building on Monroe Street beginning next week.Superintendent Steve Chiaro says selecting a vendor was a 7 to 8 month process that they took seriously.
