OVI checkpoints in Boardman and North Lima tonight

BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio - The Mahoning County OVI Task Force has released the times and locations of two sobriety checkpoints being conducted tonight.
The first checkpoint will be at 6809 Market Street in Boardman, and will run from 10 p.m. Until 12 a.m. Friday.
That address is just south of Akron Children's Hospital.
The second checkpoint will be held at 11330 Market Steet in North Lima, and run from 1 a.m until 3 a.m. Saturday.
The second location is south of the Pilot Travel Center.
Law enforcement agencies are required to announce the date, time, and location of all OVI checkpoints.
Participating officers in Mahoning County will also be conducting saturation patrols throughout the weekend.
The Task Force says it hopes the weekend's activities will deter motorists from choosing to drink and drive.
Agencies supporting the OVI Task Force with the checkpoints and patrol will include the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Ohio Department of Transportation, and the Mahoning County Emergency Management Agency.
