It's that time of year again for fair food, rides, music and more. The Canfield Fair kicks off on Wednesday with entertainment for all ages.

The cost of admission will vary throughout the week. 

There is free admission for children 6 and under every day.

Parking will also be free. 

Ride passes can be purchased separately at the Fair and will be $15 Wednesday and Thursday and $20 Friday through Monday.

Gates open at 8 A.M. and close at 11 P.M. every day. 

Wednesday, September 2
Youth (7-12): $3
Adults: $6
Seniors (62+): $4

Guided Senior Citizen Shuttles will be available from 8 A.M until 5 P.M.

Cheerleading demonstrations start at 11 A.M at the grandstand, featuring cheerleaders from Lowellville, Campbell, Columbiana, Austintown, Springfield, Struthers, West Branch, Sebring, Western Reserve, Youngstown East, Jackson-Milton, South Range, Poland and Canfield. The Happy Together Tour will begin at 8 P.M. at the grandstand and include performances from the Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie, The Association, Mark Lindsay, former lead singer of Paul Revere & the Raiders, The Grass Roots, The Buckinghams and The Cowills.

Thursday, September 3

Youth (13-17): $3
Adults: $8

The Canfield Fair official opening and ribbon cutting will take place at 10 A.M. The High School Band Show will be held at the grandstand at 11 A.M., including marching bands from Western Reserve, Lowellville, Austintown, Columbiana, Campbell, Canfield, South Range, Springfield, West Branch, Jackson-Milton, Sebrin and Struthers. Bike Night will follow directly after at 3 P.M. Wrapping things up will be a live performance by The Band Perry with opening act, Carolina Kole.

Friday, September 4
Youth (7-12): $3
Adults: $8
Seniors: $6

A special event, the "Oodles of Noodles” contest, will take place at 1:15 P.M. at the Hay & Grain Building. A few auctions will be held at Coliseum #8, including a market poultry sale at 5:30 P.M. and a market beef following by market feeders at 7 P.M.

The grandstand attraction for the night will be the world's largest demolition derby at 8 P.M. Cost for the derby is $6 for children and $10 for adults.

Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6

Youth (7-12): $3
Adults: $8

On Saturday, there will be several events taking place at the grandstand. The Draft Pony Pig Iron Derby will begin first from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. Harness Racing will begin directly after followed by the championship truck and tractor pull at 7 P.M. Tickets for the truck and tractor pull will range from $7 to $14.

On Sunday, the Catholic Workshop Service begins at 8 A.M on the concourse stage, followed by an Ecumenical Worship Service officiated by Rev. Russ Libb of Berlin Center United Methodist Church with music by the Canfield Fair Choir. A Praise and Worship service, presented by Old North Church of Canfield, will also take place on the concourse stage beginning at 11 A.M. The Jr. Saddlehorse Drill Team will be held at the North Ring at 12:30 P.M. and the Exhibitors Show will be held at the East Ring at 1 P.M. Also at 1 P.M., the Dress-A-Cow Contest will be taking place at the South Cattle Complex.

MercyME will be performing at the grandstand starting at 8 P.M.

Monday, September 7

Youth (7-12): $2
Adults: $6

The 4-H Saddle Horse Show will be held at the North Ring at 9 A.M.

The grandstand will feature the Draft Pony Pig Iron Derby from 9 A.M. To 11 A.M. Harness Racing is set to begin at 2 P.M.
