The State Fire Marshal is investigating a fire in Lawrence County that claimed two lives.

Authorities say thirty-three-year-old Kalle Covery and her nine-year-old daughter Aiden Kelley perished in a fire at their Shenango Township home on Mosser Drive.

Thirty-five-year-old Andrew Kelley and his six-year-old son Quentin Kelly were also in the burning home.

They were transported to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Investigators say when the fire broke out before 3 a.m. Tuesday, Andrew Kelley broke a front window in an attempt to save his daughter, Aiden.

However, the fire was too intense for the father to enter the home.

The fire chief tells 21 News that while they still are not sure what caused the fire, they don't believe it is suspicious in nature.

Fire officials say fire broke out at the same home last year when a clothes dryer caught fire.
