AUSTINTOWN TWP., Ohio - A nationwide gym franchise with three locations in the Valley plan to open a fourth location.

A spokesman for Planet Fitness tells 21 News that they are working on plans to open a gym in Austintown.

Operators are currently eyeing a spot near the soon-to-be open Pat Catan's in the Austintown Plaza.

Like the franchises in Niles, Boardman and Hermitage, the new Planet Fitness would be open seven days a week.

Those holding Black Card memberships are permitted to use Planet Fitness facilities anywhere.

Those with limited memberships at one of the other Planet Fitness locations would be allowed to go online and transfer their membership to the club they use most according to company officials.

No official date has been set for the opening of the Austintown location, but the company is aiming for early 2016.
