APOLLO, Pa. (AP) - The manager of a western Pennsylvania cemetery says he's worried about how he's going to restore about 200 headstones that were desecrated with spray paint.

Riverview Cemetery manager Adam Shupe tells the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review (http://bit.ly/1YrlNyL ) that vandals spray-painted the headstones sometime between sundown Friday and Saturday morning.

Shupe says the vandalized tombstones are essentially in a straight line. He believes one or two people walked through the Kiski Township cemetery spraying red paint as they trekked through the property.

Many of the defaced markers are on graves that are more than 200 years old.

Shupe says the nonprofit cemetery association's board will meet this week to discuss the situation and begin research on restoring the markers.
