BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio - Township Police and agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation are collecting evidence from a bank robbery at one of the communities busiest intersections.
The Citizen's Bank at the corner of South Avenue and Boardman Poland Road was robbed Thursday afternoon.
Police say that around 2 p.m., a man wearing a hood handed the teller a note claiming he had a gun.
Investigators released an image of the note:
"I have a gun. Sound no alarm. Put the money in the bag and no one will get hurt. No dye pack or sudden movement. You have 20 seconds."
Although no weapon was seen, the teller noticed that the robber was wearing latex gloves.
The teller placed the cash in a bag that was provided by the robber, who then left on foot.
Police say the robber hopped into the passenger seat of a gray Chevy Impala that was waiting outside the Longhorn Steak House.
There are no reports of any injuries.
