TWINSBURG, Ohio (AP) - Police say a 17-year-old northeastern Ohio boy has been arrested after photos of more than a dozen girls were posted on a blog.

The arrest followed an investigation by police in Twinsburg into rumors of photos being placed on the Tumblr blogging site.

Cleveland.com reports (http://bit.ly/1QJs6Lb ) the boy was arrested Wednesday and charged with nine counts of child porn in Summit County Juvenile Court.

Investigators believe the photos were initially sent voluntarily to one person via text message or the social media app Snapchat with the understanding they weren't to be shared.

Court records say that person sent them to someone else who then uploaded them onto Tumblr.
