WARREN, Ohio - A Warren man is facing charges after authorities say he called 911 at least eight times in one night.

Police were sent to apartment building at 2300 Plaza Avenue NE three times between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Thursday to talk to John Kline, who called 911 repeatedly saying his brother was disrespecting and picking on him.

Kline told police his brother stole his motorized wheel chair and hit a neighbor with it.

Officers told Kline to lock his door and to not let his brother back inside his apartment. Reports say Kline and his brother were very intoxicated.

Police were sent back to Kline's apartment after he called 911 again telling them he was very upset the officers did not do anything to his brother. On their way to the apartment police found out Kline had called 911 four more times despite being told not to abuse 911.

Officers say they explained the consequences of misusing 911 and issued a summons for Kline to appear in Warren Municipal Court on Friday.

Police were sent to Kline's apartment again after dispatchers say he called 911 at least another four times making threats of legal action against dispatcher and the police. Kline was issued another summons for misuse of 911.

Kline did not show up for his arraignments Friday morning. Warren Municipal Court said a warrant will likely be issued on Monday.
