The Howland woman who made national news when she was repeatedly Tasered by a Warren City Police officer has died.

WARREN, Ohio - The Howland woman who made national news when she was repeatedly Tasered by a Warren City Police officer has died.
The Trumbull County Coroner's office confirms that Heidi Peterson Gill died Wednesday at St, Joseph Hospital.
No cause of death has been released.
The Trumbull County Coroner's Office says an autopsy will be performed on Friday.
Peterson Gill turned 47 just last week.
Warren police officer Richard Kovach repeatedly used his taser on Gill during a confrontation outside a Howland Tavern in 2007.
The incident was caught on dashcam video, which made headlines around the country.
Three years later Gill and the city settled the resultant lawsuit for $300 thousand.
