A prosecuting attorney asked a judge to send a Warren man to prison for five years for having child pornography on his computer.

On Wednesday, Trumbull County Judge Wyatt McKay sentenced 27-year-old John Miller to sixty days in jail and five years probation.

Assistant Trumbull County Prosecutor Gabe Wildman says he always recommends prison time for people convicted of sex offenses involving children.

Miller pleaded guilty to seven counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.

Wildman says when Miller was arrested in 2014, his computer was found to contain images of children as young as five or six years old.

As part of the condition of his probation, Miller cannot operate a computer.

In addition, Miller must register twice a year as a tier two sex offender for the next 25 years.
