EAST ROCHESTER, Ohio - A Marine veteran with PTSD is asking the public to help him find his companion service animal.

Paul McCoy's monkey, Jebediah, has been missing since last Wednesday.

Jeb was last seen at a mobile home park in East Rochester, southwest of Salem.

McCoy has PTSD, and the service monkey alerts his wife when he needs to take his medicine.

“I've had incidents before this. I was hospitalized many times for the condition and I had no way of controlling it. But with him, we caught it early and it was controllable,” said McCoy.

The companion animal was wearing a blue onesie when he was last seen.

Paul McCoy is hoping someone will have the heart to return Jeb.

McCoy asks anyone who sees Jeb not to catch the monkey, but instead make a note of the location and call him at 234-575-3961.

There is also a Facebook site for his wife Alicia.
