Ground has been broken for yet another addition to the Boardman Stadium project.

School officials, parents, booster club members and members of the marching band celebrated the ground breaking of the new Spartans bandshell Thursday evening.

Bill and Karen Veri donated $150,000 to build the new shell.

It's expected to be completed by the beginning of August, which is just in time for football season.

The next phase of the Stadium Project includes a wall of honor, ticket booths and a third building that would include restrooms, concessions, and locker rooms.
