Bicyclist hit by minivan in Campbell

Campbell police are investigating an accident that sent a bicyclist to the hospital Thursday morning.

CAMPBELL, Ohio - Campbell police are investigating an accident that sent a bicyclist to the hospital Thursday morning.

A minivan struck the bicycle on Route 616 just south of Route 422 shortly after 10 a.m.

The driver of the minivan tells police that she had swerved, hoping to avoid the bike.

Injuries to the cyclist appear not to be life-threatening according to police.

The names of the driver and the victim are not yet available.
