Kent State Trumbull to offer advice to displaced ITT students
More than 35,000 students nationwide were recently displaced when ITT Educational Services Inc. closed its chain of technical colleges. To assist students, Kent State University at Trumbull's Enrollment Management and Students Services department is offering "Let's Make a Plan: An Information Session for Former ITT Students" on Wednesday, September 21 in Kent State Trumbull's Auditorium.

WARREN, Ohio - More than 35,000 students nationwide were recently displaced when ITT Educational Services Inc. closed its chain of technical colleges.
To assist students, Kent State University at Trumbull's Enrollment Management and Students Services department is offering "Let's Make a Plan: An Information Session for Former ITT Students" on Wednesday, September 21 in Kent State Trumbull's Auditorium.
The event, which is free and open to all former ITT students and their families, begins at 6:00 p.m.
Individuals who attend can obtain information on acquiring transcripts, navigating financial aid options and determining next steps for future academic pursuits.
"Our hearts go out to these students," said Jim Ritter, Director, Enrollment Management and Student Services, Kent State Trumbull. "Each one of those 35,000 students represents someone who is pursuing a better life and now they have to abruptly shift gears and find another option."
Kent State Trumbull is located at 4314 Mahoning Ave. N.W. in Warren. The Auditorium is in the Classroom/Administration Building, positioned directly across from the flag poles on the east side of campus. Parking is free in two lots directly north of the main entrance to the Classroom/Administration Building.
