Warren man's death ruled a homicide
The death of Kenneth Brandon Sample, the Bristol Twp. man whose body was found near the ODNR, has been ruled a homicide. According to officials, the cause of his death was a gunshot wound to the head.

The death of Kenneth Brandon Sample, the Warren man whose body was found in the Grand River Wildlife Area in Bristolville has been ruled a homicide.
According to the Trumbull County Coroner's Office the cause of his death has officially been determined as a gunshot wound to the head.
Sample, who goes by Brandon, was reported missing last Monday.
His parents previously told 21 News that they last saw him Sunday night when he told them that he was driving a friend to Akron. His car was found the following day by Niles police.
Thursday, Warren police reportedly began investigating a body found in Bristolville, near the ODNR state game lands known as the Grand River Wildlife Area.
21 News anchor Leslie Barrett spoke with Sample's mother, Stephanie Sample, Monday night. She said that her son had a good heart but dealt with depression and addiction which caused him to get mixed up with the wrong crowd.
The family wants to thank the community for the outpouring of support.
