Warren police are investigating the circumstances behind the deaths of three city residents.

Police have identified 18-year-old Ju'Wantae Harbin, Brandy Joseph, age 37, and 24-year-old DeVonte West all of Warren.

Police say the three victims were in a car that ran off the road at Southern Blvd and Solar Street and struck the side of a house Thursday night.

Investigators say witnesses reported hearing gunshots from inside the car both before and after it hit the house.

"On Solar and Southern, they're shooting each other.  Oh God they're shooting each other," said one neighbor who called 911.

The caller said her boyfriend and others ran to the car to offer help but ran back when they heard gunshots.

Police have only stated that all three were shot, but did not say if any weapons were recovered from the vehicle.

Joseph and West were pronounced dead at the scene. Harbin died later at the hospital.

His mother described him to 21 News as a polite and respectful young man.

It's not known how he was acquainted with other two victims.

Warren police say the investigative division is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.
