Woman's body found in creek after major Pennsylvania floods
Officials say they've recovered the body of a woman swept away by floodwaters after a line of powerful storms dumped nearly 4 inches of rain on parts of western Pennsylvania.

BETHEL PARK, Pa. (AP) - Officials say they've recovered the body of a woman swept away by floodwaters after a line of powerful storms dumped nearly 4 inches of rain on parts of western Pennsylvania.
The Observer-Reporter, citing Bridgeville police, reports the woman's body was found in McLaughlin Run, just southwest of Pittsburgh. Her name wasn't immediately released.
Residents and business owners are cleaning up Thursday after Wednesday's storms unleashed flash flooding that carried off cars, damaged buildings and prompted scores of evacuations and rescues.
Video posted on social media showed cars floating down flooded streets , while swift-water rescue teams in Allegheny County took part in at least 66 rescues. Emergency crews in Westmoreland County rescued residents from about 30 houses, including a couple from their roof.
