All power has been restored to customers in Liberty Township after an SUV struck a pole and left hundreds without power.

LIBERTY TWP, Ohio - All power has been restored to customers in Liberty Township after an SUV struck a pole and left hundreds without power.
State Troopers, police, firefighters and Ohio Edison were all on scene shortly after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
FirstEnergy reported more than 1,000 outages after the car struck the pole on Tibbets Wick Road and Sampson Drive.
Poles and several wires were taken down in the crash.
Police tell 21 News that they believe the driver lost control of the SUV and crashed, knocking down two poles.
The driver was not injured.
It isn't known if a report of smoking wires in the area of Giant Eagle on Belmont Avenue is related to the investigation.
FirstEnergy restored the outages around 11 a.m.
