Valley native and Boardman product D.J. Ogilvie is back coaching in Northeast Ohio and back at United Local for the second time.
Ogilvie led the Eagles for six seasons to 2003, went to Florida to coach and returned.
"I want the best effort and wins will follow," said the veteran coach who was also the head coach at his alma mater for seven seasons.
The Eagles have 40 players and three starters back on each side of the ball.
"Ethan Antrom is returning at running back. He'll be our biggest ball carrier and Parker Hydrick is back at split end along with Landon Baker," Ogilvie said.
A concern for Ogilvie is the lack of depth in all areas.
"I think we have some good skill overall. We do have some kids with experience, but no starters and that's something we have to work on," Ogilvie said.
The Eagles open the season at Minerva.
