A boil alert in Niles has been lifted after five days.

NILES, Ohio - A boil alert in Niles has been lifted after five days.

The alert was issued on Thursday for residents from White Towing on Robbins Avenue to State Route 46.

Police say the repairs to the water break on Robbins Avenue were complete on Thursday night but the boil alert was still in effect.

City officials thank residents for their patience.
