PULASKI TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Route 208 will be closed for bridge replacement work in Pulaski Township, Lawrence County next week. 

The bridge over Deer Creek between Valley View Road and Oak Ridge Road will be closed from Monday until Saturday.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says the bridge on Route 208 will be replaced using accelerated bridge construction techniques.

The detour will be:

  • Follow Route 208 to Route 551
  • Turn right onto Route 551
  • Turn right onto Route 422
  • Turn right onto Route 208

Preparations for the construction will begin on Saturday, September 29.

PennDOT Officials say there will be single-lane restrictions controlled by flaggers on the bridge.

Officials also say even after the bridge opens, drivers can still expect single-lane restrictions next Saturday, October 6.

Local traffic will have access to South Valley View Road and Oak Ridge Road.
