BEAVER TWP., Ohio - A Fairfield Township woman is free on bond after pleading not guilty drunk driving and child endangering charges filed after an accident in Beaver Township.

Police say 47-year-old Rebecca Simpson had a blood-alcohol content more than three times the legal limit when her car went off West South Range Road, striking a concrete culvert and a mailbox on Sunday.

Neither Simpson nor the 9-year-old girl riding in the car was injured.

According to the traffic report, Simpson's blood-alcohol level was .25. In Ohio, it is illegal to drive with a blood-alcohol content of .08.

In addition to the OVI and child endangering charges, Simpson is also charged with failing to control her vehicle.

Simpson is free on bond awaiting her next court hearing later this month.
