Tailgate Chili

Serves: 2-4    Prep Time: 15 Min.  Cook Time: 30 Min.

 
Ingredients:
1 Lb 80/20 Ground Beef
1 Jar Market District Chili starter
1 Can Red Kidney Beans 
1 Can Great Northern Beans
½ Cup Spanish Onions, diced
¼ Cup Bell Peppers, diced
2 Tablespoons Jalapenos, diced
Salt and Pepper to taste

Toppings:
Sour Cream
Cheddar Cheese
Scallions

Directions:
1:  Brown beef in a sauce pot. Once the beef is browned, drain off the fat; add in the peppers, onion, and jalapenos. Cook until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.   
2: When the vegetables are translucent, add in the beans, chili starter, and 1 jar of water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for approximately 20-30 minutes.  Season with salt and pepper as needed; garnish as desired with cheese, sour cream and scallions.
