Tech Belt Energy Innovation Center in Warren opens new lab

WARREN, Ohio - A new lab in Warren is the only one of it's kind in Ohio.
And It's making it easier for businesses to develop and test products.
Tech Belt Energy Innovation Center or TBEIC unveiled it's new tech energy lab in Downtown Warren.
Dozens of people came to check out the new facility, enjoy a presentation and a dinner.
The West Market Street facility focuses on batteries and fuel cell companies.
With no other energy incubators like this on in the state, the Vice President and COO said it will attract companies, businesses and even universities as clean energy is on the rise.
All of this was made possible through a grant.
"We are very grateful to have support from the Appalachia Regional Commission who gave us a $248,000 grant as well as a matching grant from the Ohio board of regions to put this lab together," said Rick Stockburger. "So that money was for the equipment and we are excited to build the lab upstairs from them".
The lab is now welcoming in business.
