We're learning more about the Youngstown man the U.S. Marshals arrested on Thursday, accused of a two-year crime spree in at least three different communities.

21 News has more on the escapades of Richard D. Williams.

At 26-years-old Richard Williams, a.k.a. El Chapo shares a Facebook post on October 25th that said,  "Got my work clothes laid out."

In the photo, you see a black sweatshirt and a ski mask; attire often associated with robberies.

Back on September 14th on that same Facebook page, he shows a picture displaying three rows of $20 bills with two guns nearby.

The U.S. Marshal describe him as armed and dangerous saying there are often reports of him with a weapon and he is allegedly heavily into the drug trade.

Marshals gave Williams an early morning wake-up call Thursday after finding him at the Sleep Inn hotel in Austintown according to Detective- Sergeant Glen Riddle of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Boardman Police Department.

"He exited the hotel. Jumped in a vehicle. We attempted a vehicle takedown in the parking lot.  There were numerous agencies involved; the U.S. Marshals, the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force, the Mahoning County Sheriff, and Austintown police," Det.-Sgt. Riddle said.

But in the process, Williams rammed one of the police vehicles.

He was surrounded by officers and had nowhere to run.  Williams was arrested on the scene.

"He was in possession of a firearm and narcotics," Det.-Sgt. Riddle said.

Williams could face additional federal charges for those crimes.

Marshals say Williams has been a wanted man for two years and had warrants for more than 12 different crimes; including allegedly ramming the car of his girlfriend with his kids in the vehicle in Youngstown.

Among his charges according to Det.-Sgt. Riddle, "Assault, weapons charges, identity fraud, forgery, high-speed vehicle pursuits."

The Marshals tell 21 News that they are just relieved that a man suspected of a two-year crime spree in three communities, including Stow, Ohio is behind bars.

His brother, Ricki Williams, was convicted of murdering Gina Burger in Austintown and then throwing her body into a landfill.

Now he has three siblings in prison according to sources, and if convicted himself authorities tell me that's where he's headed as well.

Richard Williams has also skipped out on his bond and missed several felony trials, so according to the prosecutor, it's likely his bond will be revoked to guarantee his appearance for trial.
