Rain will blanket the Valley late Thursday Evening and will continue to fall through early Friday Morning.

Rain will begin to taper off early Friday leading to a cloudy day with a high temperature in the mid-40s. Showers will track back in from east to west late Friday Evening before transitioning to snow showers by Saturday Morning. Light snow accumulations up to an inch can't be ruled out.

We are now a bit more confident that a system will track across the Great Lakes late Sunday Evening and Monday Morning. This next round of snow could add up to accumulations. We would need to hope that melting doesn't occur to have the 1" we need for there to be an official white Christmas.

As far as Christmas Day, expect a partly sunny day with a high in the mid-30s.
