WARREN, Ohio - Warren police say they're investigating an incident that ended with them witnessing a nude photo being sent to a preteen. 

According to police, a Warren mother called them, concerned about messages her daughter was receiving online. 

A report from officers, the 12-year-old girl was contacted by an unknown man on Instagram. 

Officers say the suspect messaged the girl asking how old she was. 

When the girl replied "12" the man asked the could if he could "see her". 

The report says the girl responded no, asking the man how old he was, but the man did not answer. 

According to police, the suspect then messaged the girl asking what she was doing. 

Police say the suspect told the girl that he was "j****** off" and asked the girl if that was ok. 

The report says the girl did not answer. The suspect then allegedly messaged the girl several more times, commanding her to answer him and asking if she wanted to see his genitals. 

A report says the girl told the man no because she is "only 12 and he is an adult". 

Police say the man then said that the girl was "old enough to see". 

The report says as the officers were at the home getting information they saw a picture message come into the girl's account of the suspect's genitals. 

Police say they are investigating the messages. No suspect has been named at this time.
