Warren police officers arrested a woman after her boyfriend found her in the bed with his five-month-old baby suffering from an apparent overdose.

Warren police were called to the 800 block of Sylvan Street to respond to a report of a woman suffering from an apparent overdose with a five-month-old baby laying next to her in bed. 

Jennifer Forte's boyfriend called the police and told them that he was worried about Forte after leaving her home with her three children.

According to the police report, when Forte's boyfriend went home to check on her, he found her unresponsive laying on the bed next to his five-month baby. 

Police say that Forte's boyfriend told them that she has been known to use heroin in the past but did not know she was still using. 

According to the police report, officers gave Forte two doses of Narcan before EMT arriving. When the EMT arrived, they administered two additional doses of Narcan.

Police say that when Forte was transported to St. Joseph Hospital to be treated for her overdose symptoms. 

The police released the children into their father's custody.

Forte is facing three child endangering charges. 

Forte has pleaded not guilty to the three counts of Child Endangering and is scheduled back in Warren Municipal Court on June 18.
