A portion of Shields road is closed down due to a driver hitting a pole. The intersection of Shields Road and Hopkins Road is closed because a driver hit a telephone pole. There are no reported injuries in the crash, but the portion of the road is closed. Boardman officials say that they are waiting for Ohio Edison to clear the road so they can open it back up.
