Police and Jackson-Milton School officials are investigating a report that a teacher may have sent inappropriate texts to a 14-year-old student.

The high school resource officer said in a report that the teen's mother contacted him after her daughter said she had been exchanging private messages with a 36-year-old teacher through the online game “Trivia Crack.”

According to the report, the teacher allegedly sent the following messages to the girl:

"Learn your lesson.. any guy would be lucky to be with you, including me."

"Alright hun, I've spent all day talking and playing with you, I think it's time I get ready for bed."

"you took a little time to grow on me.. now I feel attached"

"You'll make friends easily... those black boys will be drooling over you"

According to the report, the teen did not feel there was a need to report the messages until she showed them to her friends. It was only then that she became concerned.

The report said that the student did not fear for her safety.

Jackson-Milton School Superintendent Kirk Baker says the school administration and police are aware of the allegations and are still investigating.

Baker said there was no need to take any kind of disciplinary action such as suspending the teacher since the investigation is continuing and school is not currently in session.
