YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Struthers man that was arrested and charged with attempted murder was in court Thursday.

Nicholas Italiano was found guilty of one charge of felonious assault by a jury.

The jury stated that the prosecution did prove that Italiano has a firearm during the assault.

The jury also found Italiano not guilty of an additional charge of felonious assault and not guilty of attempted murder.

Police say the fight started between Italiano and a woman after he took up several parking spaces with his truck at a Market Street convenience store in Youngstown.

The woman called her fiance, who police say punched Italiano in the face.

Italiano then allegedly shot the man as he was running away.

Sentencing has not been scheduled at this time.
