A storm that rolled through Trumbull County left flooding and damage in its wake.

Callers to Trumbull 9-1-1 reported cars stranded in three-to-four feet of water along Pine Ave near the Warren City/Howland Township line at around 3 a.m. Sunday.

There was also a car stuck in high waters on Larchmont Avenue early Sunday morning. 

A homeowner on Raccoon Dr. NE in Howland had a foot of water in his garage and basement.

A tree fell on wires along Bane Avenue in Newton Falls.

Shortly before 6 a.m. a tree was blocking the 4000 block of Sampson Road in Liberty Township.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Eagle Creek At Phalanx Station until late Sunday.

At 5 a.m. the creek was 8.5 feet, one foot below flood stage.

Minor flooding is forecast. The river will fall below flood stage by Sunday night.

At 11.0 feet Barclay Messerly Road, McConnell East, and Knowlton Roads will be flooded and impassable.
