Brookfield man sentenced for child pornography charges
Scharmer has been sentenced to 180 days in Jail and will have to register as a tier two sex offender.
A Brookfield Township man has been sentenced on child pornography charges.
Forty-three-year-old Daniel Scharmer was in court Tuesday following a guilty plea in May.
He was arrested in March after investigators found more than twenty photos and videos of minors engaging in sexual acts with adults.
The indictment said that some images included a toddler and several prepubescent females.
Scharmer has been sentenced to 180 days in jail and will have to register as a tier two sex offender.
Scharmer will have to register as a sex offender for 25 years.
