WARREN, Ohio - State Troopers have released the name of the suspect involved in a search on Elm and North River Road.
Troopers say 38-year-old Daniel Dicks fled the scene after a traffic stop.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Dicks ran from a car that was pulled over in the area just before 11 a.m. Wednesday. Troopers say he is wanted for a felony warrant, but have not released the charges connected to it.
Shortly before noon, the search area was expanded to a couple of addresses where the suspect may have fled.
A supervisor with the Ohio State Patrol said they called off their search at around 1 p.m., but that other agencies are still looking for the man.
Investigators believed the suspect may have run into a nearby wooded area and brought in a K9 to track his scent.
Dicks is described as a white male wearing a black ball cap, black mesh shorts, and a blue t-shirt. Trumbull County Jail records list Dicks as standing 6 feet tall and weighing 163 pounds.
The Trooper reported that a weapon wasn't seen, but they say it's possible that he could be armed.
