A Trumbull County nonprofit is looking to find willing volunteers to help deliver meals to those who may be disabled or homebound.

Trumbull Mobile Meals announced on Friday that they are currently experiencing a "crucial need" for drivers to make deliveries.

According to the release, the most desperate need for drivers is in Lordstown, Southington, and Warren, but all areas of Trumbull County could use help.

The release from TMM says that even if community members have one hour, they could be of great help.

"If you have an hour to spare once a week or even just once a month, TMM can use your help.  The time you donate is immeasurable and so important to others in need," the release reads.

According to the release, there is a large segment of the Valley's community that are wheelchair-bound, use walkers and canes, are too ill to prepare a meal, or do not have the resources to drive to a congregate meal site or food distribution center.

Anyone who might like to volunteer should contact Trumbull Mobile Meals at 330-394-2538.
