A mural has been unveiled on the side of a Champion Township barn celebrating the Valley's automotive history.

The barn, located at 973 Center Street and owned by Don and Helen Fenstermaker, is now adorned with a large depiction of a Packard Automobile.

The barn also displays the Packard logo, accompanied by the words “founded Warren, Ohio 1899.”

The mural is a cooperative project involving the Trumbull County Tourism Bureau, National Packard Museum, Trumbull County Historical Society and the Ohio History Connection.

It is one of eight barn murals around Ohio showcasing accomplishments from Ohio's past.
