A much-needed break from the heat and humidity is on the way once we get through today.

Look for partly to mostly cloudy skies for our Sunday with scattered showers and storms arriving by afternoon; some could produce strong winds and torrential rain.

It'll be hot and humid with highs near 90. Partly cloudy overnight with lows in the upper 60s.

Monday will also see scattered showers and storms especially along and south of I-80.

Highs on Monday will be in the mid-70s and lows in the upper 50s with clearing skies overnight.

Tuesday and Wednesday look beautiful with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s.

More seasonable temps arrive for Thursday and Friday with plenty of sun and a few clouds with highs in the low 80s.
It will be warmer Saturday with a few more clouds and a high in the mid-80s.
