EPA, Hazmat investigate odor near Boardman apartments
The Environmental Protection Agency, Hazmat and Boardman fire officials were on the scene in front of the Mill Creek Apartments Wednesday after finding an odor in the area.

BOARDMAN, Ohio - The Environmental Protection Agency, Hazmat and Boardman fire officials were on the scene in front of the Mill Creek Apartments Wednesday after finding an odor in the area.
According to fire officials, there was a film over water in the Lockwood Boulevard area, and a fuel-like odor was coming from it.
Crews were on scene for a couple of hours tracing the source of the substance.
Fire officials say the source was not located, but the substance began flushing itself out.
