YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - City officials stepped into action Wednesday after demolition debris was left in a Youngstown yard.
The Mahoning County Land Bank owns the property on East Dewey Avenue and apologized to neighbors before the cleanup.
They told 21 News that this isn't the way they operate and they're looking for answers themselves about what led to the mess.
"We had some sort of miscommunication with our contractor. As far as what happened, I don't have all the answers myself right now," said Debra Flora of the Mahoning County Land Bank.
The mess was cleaned up later in the afternoon.
That house on East Dewey Avenue is scheduled to be demolished on Monday.
