Kinsman Township police are working to keep sightseers and others from wandering into the neighborhood ravaged by floods last Saturday.

Police announced on Thursday that there would be security posted in the evacuated area of the Lakelands development.

According to a post on the police department's Facebook page, anyone caught in that area that isn't a resident or a representative of a resident will be arrested and face criminal charges.

Police say the Lakeview Drive closure begins at the intersection of Main Street and Lakeview Drive.

Anyone that is caught in the evacuated area of the Lakelands that isn't a resident or a representative of a resident will face criminal charges!

According to police the west side of Lakelands on Lakeview Drive, it is marked “road closed.” Non-residents or people who aren't visiting someone they know in the neighborhood will be cited for driving on a closed highway.

Also, police say construction vehicles are in the area, and there are no places to park.
