Warren family gathers to remember victim of unsolved murder
It's been more than a year since the body of a 28-year-old Warren mother was found shot to death near Deemer Park.

WARREN, Ohio - It's been more than a year since the body of a 28-year-old Warren mother was found shot to death near Deemer Park.
On Tuesday, the case remained unsolved as family members came together to place pictures and balloons at the very street sign they say the body of Brittany May was discovered.
"I'm angry. I'm asking God to heal my heart," said Brittany's mother, Tiffany May.
May was a mother of four. In July 2018, she was found shot to death near the corner of Front Street and Reserve Avenue.
"She was sweet, she was a woman of God, she loved her kids, she loved everybody. Brittany loved everybody," said Tiffany May.
Shortly after May's body was found, the body of May's boyfriend Jerry Hughley was also discovered. Both cases are being investigated as homicides. Both cases are still unsolved.
"I feel like if the community come together and pull together, this can be solved," said family friend Cora Hines. "Not just Brittany's murder, but all the murders that's happening in Warren can be solved if the community comes together and stands together."
Detectives say they still work on the cases of Brittany May and Jerry Hughley daily and hope to one day give both families answers.
