BOARDMAN, Ohio - Police have arrested a man who they believe robbed a Boardman convenience store and gas station last month.

Members of the Mahoning County Violent Crimes Task Force and Boardman Police arrested 20-year-old Christopher Robinson on Wednesday at his Moyer Avenue home.

Moyer was charged with robbery after police circulated surveillance photos taken during the July 21st robbery at the Shell North gas station on Market Street at Indianola Road.

Police said the suspect walked into the gas station and told the cashier “I don't want to hurt anyone. Just give me the money”. The suspect then drove away in a gray hatchback.

As of Thursday Robinson was still in the Mahoning County jail awaiting arraignment.
