Youngstown's team in the PONY League World Series has clinched their second trip to the Division Championship in the last three seasons after defeating Arecibo, Puerto Rico 9-5 Tuesday morning. 

Following a three-hour rain delay, Youngstown got on the board in the first inning after a pair of RBI singles by Anthony Miller and Jarrod Malagise. Youngstown added another run in the second, making their lead 3-0. 

In the fourth, Youngstown added two more runs, pushing their lead to 5-0, before Arecibo got on the board with three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. 

Starting pitcher, Braeden D'Angelo gave up one earned run, struck out eight, walked three and gave up four total hits in five innings of work. 

With the loss, Puerto Rico has been eliminated from the PONY League World Series. 

Youngstown will face Taipei City, Chinese-Taipei in the Division Championship. 

The Championship game scheduled for Tuesday evening has been postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday, August 14 at 5:30 p.m.
